Business Pain: Dell needed a trusted partner with Oracle WebCenter experience to help them migrate from Documentum to Oracle WebCenter 11g. Their current Documentum support ran out, and they wanted to find a solution that would replace the current environment and set them up for future success.
How we fixed it : For this project, TekStream used its QuickStream process for the design and discovery portion and WebCenter Content Loader for the migration. With this proprietary solution, TekStream was able to migrate over 5 million documents in 6 months. This is 30x faster than a standard migration. In all, a total of 18 applications were recoded and migrated from Documentum to WebCenter Content 11g. Lastly, TekStream’s solution was able to simplify security and add records retention
