Rob Jansen Named One of Atlanta’s Most Admired CEOs. A Story of Reinvention, Resilience and Relentless Growth.

When the Atlanta Business Chronicle announced its 2025 class of Most Admired CEOs, the TekStream team couldn’t have been more proud to see our CEO, Rob Jansen, earn this well-deserved recognition. The award highlights leaders who stand out for their integrity, dedication to their communities, and transformative influence. Rob embodies that standard daily.

A Pivotal Moment That Changed Everything

During his acceptance speech, Rob revisited a turning point that many leaders might never talk about publicly:

“Just five years after we founded the business, the entire industry that we knew, that we thought we were crushing and doing really well, effectively evaporated overnight. The move to cloud computing and cybersecurity literally changed everything and we were faced with the reality that we either had to reinvent ourselves and diversify or close up shop.”

That moment wasn’t simply a business challenge, it was an existential one. The market shifted. The rules changed. And TekStream had to decide whether it would evolve or disappear.

Rob chose evolution. He chose reinvention. And he brought the entire company with him.

A Decade of Bold Reinvention

Rob continued in his remarks:

“Nearly 10 years later, and after nearly a decade of amazing growth and success, we chose that risk of reinventing ourselves, and I’m super happy about that. It’s taught us that we always have to be reinventing ourselves and always looking at the next opportunity—especially with what’s going on in the technology world and independent of the technology world.”

Under Rob’s leadership, TekStream transformed from a niche consulting firm into a national leader in digital resilience, trusted by Fortune 500s, public-sector organizations, higher-education institutions and state cybersecurity leaders. Today, our portfolio grows:

  • Managed Detection and Response (MDR)
  • Cybersecurity operations and student-powered SOC models
  • Workforce development programs reshaping the talent pipeline
  • Cloud modernization across AWS and Oracle
  • Observability, automation, and digital transformation initiatives
  • Strategic advisory and governance through partnerships like ImagineX
  • Whole-of-State cybersecurity solutions redefining community cyber readiness

This growth didn’t happen by accident. It happened because Rob set a vision, built the right team and created a culture where taking smart risks is not only accepted but encouraged.

Why This Award Matters

This recognition isn’t just a milestone for Rob, it’s a milestone for TekStream.

It signals that the values we live every day—reinvention, resilience, curiosity, and a relentless commitment to customer success—are recognized, appreciated, and making an impact across the region.

It shows that leadership rooted in transparency and courage attracts great people and builds great things.

And it reminds us that the next era of TekStream’s growth will be defined by the same mindset that brought us here: stay curious, stay bold and keep reinventing.
